A Word From Our Camp Gan Israel Directors
Hey there, Indy!
Our names are Mendy and Mushka Grossbaum, and we are coming to you all the way from Los Angeles, California to spend summer 2023 at CGI Indianapolis!
Collectively, we have spent something like twelve summers working in and directing Camp Gan Israels around the world. This includes summers spent in places like Offenbach - Germany, Melbourne - Australia, and Toronto - Canada, and we are thrilled to be able to bring that experience to CGI Indy.
We are so excited to greet you all, and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer—meeting new friends, experiencing some amazing trips, and having loads of fun—all in a warm Jewish environment.

A Word from our Mini Gan Izzy Director
Hey everyone! Chana Grossbaum here. It has been a joy moving to the Carmel / Indianapolis area and getting to know such amazing families. I love running our Hebrew School of the Arts and planning weekly Babyccino sessions. As a mom of two toddlers I’m constantly searching for fun and engaging activities. Mini Gan Izzy is a place where we foster the growth of your children in a fun and loving setting. Looking forward to a splashing time!

Hello! My name is Michaela Kushner. I moved to Indianapolis this past summer from Phoenix, Arizona where I was born. I moved with my parents and 11 year old daughter, Maliyah, who is in 6th grade at Hasten Hebrew Academy. I am an assistant teacher in the Katon class at Giving Tree Early Learning and I'm working with the toddlers. I ran an at home day care back in Phoenix and love working with children. I’m excited meet you all and have an amazing summer!

Hi! My name is Hadas Goodman and I come from Brooklyn, NY.
Im the oldest of four kids.
Both my parents are Israeli so I grew up speaking Hebrew in our home.
I enjoy visiting new places and doing trying new things. I love hanging out with kids and giving them a fun time! Can't wait see you all again :)
Hi I’m Chana Levin and i’m from Miami Beach, Florida. I enjoy playing sports and going swimming. I come from a big family so I have a lot of experience with kids and am very much looking forward for this amazing experience!!
Hi, my name is Hinda Sandman. I’m 17 years old. I’m from Miami, Florida and I go to Beis Chana High school. I have three siblings and I do the kids group every Shabbos in my shul. I love sports, hiking and swimming. I’m looking forward to another amazing summer!
Hi! my name is Noa Yadger. I’m from New York. I teach at a Hebrew school and have worked at a CGI in the past. I enjoy reading, traveling, and baking. I’m very excited to meet you all and am looking forward to an amazing summer!!
Hi! My name is Talia knecht. I’m from new jersey but made aliyah about 7 years ago. I’m 17 years old.
